Weld seams and applications
Creating inside corner welds is very simple with the laser. The welding speed is very high and the result requires virtually no post-processing.
For laser welding an I-joint, it is recommended to use a guide stop along which the welding torch can be moved. By using the guide stop, it becomes easier to achieve a high-quality result.
Welding a folded sheet, a wall, or two folded sheets together is perfectly achievable. However, the use of filler material is required.
By choosing the right attachment for the welding torch, outside corner welds are also easy to create.
For welding joints in square or round tubes, optimal preparation is essential. This ensures that the gap is not too large and remains consistent.
LAZRZ customers are successfully applying laser welding. In the customer cases below, they show how the process is a valuable addition to the welding processes these companies already had in-house.
An oversized trumpet in front of Rotterdam Central Station, a snack wall on a cargo bike, a large slide in an office, and a custom-made safety barrier around industrial machinery. They all have one thing in common: they are welded by Buitelaar Metaal.
Dertec is a manufacturer of stainless steel drive motors and gearboxes. Dertec’s products are widely used in machinery for the food processing industry.
What started in 1947 as an agricultural contracting company has grown into a leading manufacturer of agricultural and turfcare machinery. All over the world, it is hard to imagine a piece of farmland that has not been driven over by a machine from Vredo in Dodewaard.
At WE-Metal, a specialist in the metalworking industry, innovation is at the heart of everything they do. Gert van Wakeren, Commercial Manager, and Johan Rigters, Managing Director, recently made a strategic decision to invest in advanced laser technology from LAZRZ.
